Sun Gazing is a practice that has been around for 2,000 years! It has made a come-back recently in the modern alternative-medicine community.

How to Sun Gaze:

Learning to sun gaze is a 9 month process. After nine months you must sustain the practice to maintain the full benefits.

WARNING: Please only sun gaze during sunrise or sunset, at which time the ultra violet light is at it's lowest strength and the UV rays are the least harmful to your eyes.

The first day, you will stare into the sun for 10 seconds.

Each day you will add 10 seconds to your sun gazing session. Make sure you are barefoot and on natural earth ground (dirt grass, sand, etc.)

At the end of 9 months your sun gazing sessions should reach 44 minutes. When you have reached the 44 minute mark, you will then start walking (you don't have to be barefoot for this part) 45 minutes a day to receive and retain the full benefits of sun gazing.

What are the Benefits?

People claim that Sun Gazing has removed their need for food all together and that they receive all of their energy through sun gazing. So you basically become solar powered...neat! (I'd keep some snacks on hand for cloudy days though)

Sungazing also boost your energy, reduces fatigue, eliminates depression and negativity and also de-calcifies your pineal gland (huh?)

Pineal Gland

Your pineal gland is a small part of the brain that secretes melatonin into the body to regulate things like sleep, sexual desire, and aging. In the Metaphysical world, it Is known as the 3rd eye.

People have evolved and been subjected to chemicals such a fluoride, artificial sweetners, scent plugs (glade, airwick, etc), and processed foods that have made the pineal gland mostly dormant. however, it never goes fully dead because the human body does secrete the chemicals melatonin and serotonin.

The powers of the pineal gland have been falsified and have become quite controversial.

It is said that if the pineal glad is open not only with your physical and mental health increase but you also bond the energies from the crown chakra and the root chakra in the body.

This forms a sort of magnetic field of energy which, with meditation and discipline can result in astral projection or out of body experiences to other realms, and divine oneness with the spiritual world and being free of all ego boundaries.

"I was drawn to DMT because of its presence in all of our bodies. I believed the source of this DMT was the mysterious pineal gland, a tiny organ situated in the center of our brains. Modern medicine knows little about this gland’s role, but it has a rich metaphysical history. Descartes, for example, believed the pineal was the ‘seat of the soul’ and both Western and Eastern mystical traditions place our highest spiritual center within its confines.”
